Solution:

  1. Check storage (Settings → Storage)
  2. Delete the APK and download again
  3. If Thriva was previously installed, uninstall it first

Accessibility permission won’t stay enabled

Section titled “Accessibility permission won’t stay enabled”

Some phone manufacturers aggressively kill background services.

Solution (varies by brand):

Samsung:

  • Settings → Battery → App power management → Add Thriva to “Never sleeping apps”

Xiaomi/MIUI:

  • Settings → Apps → Thriva → Enable “Autostart”
  • Security app → Permissions → Autostart → Enable Thriva

Huawei:

  • Settings → Battery → App launch → Set Thriva to “Manual” with all toggles ON

OnePlus:

  • Settings → Battery → Battery optimization → Find Thriva → “Don’t optimize”

Solution:

  1. Go to SettingsSecurityDevice admin apps
  2. Enable Thriva manually
  3. If grayed out, another app may conflict - check with IT if this is a work device

Solution:

  1. Force close Thriva and reopen
  2. Restart the phone
  3. Reinstall the app

Check:

  • Is the phone connected to internet (WiFi or mobile data)?
  • Is airplane mode off?
  • Is Thriva still running?

Solution:

  1. Open Thriva app
  2. Check connection status
  3. Tap “Sync” if available

Focused Mode should limit app access.

Thriva should use minimal battery. If it’s draining quickly:

Check:

  • Are there many permission prompts appearing repeatedly?

Solution:

  1. Restart the phone
  2. If problem persists, reinstall Thriva
  3. Contact support with battery usage screenshot

Thriva shouldn’t affect performance noticeably.

Try:

  1. Restart the phone
  2. Clear Thriva cache (Settings → Apps → Thriva → Storage → Clear cache)
  3. Reinstall if problem persists

Solution:

  1. Clear app data (Settings → Apps → Thriva → Storage → Clear data)
  2. Re-register the device with a new code
  3. If persists, reinstall the app

Check:

  • Is the code exactly 8 characters? (uppercase letters and numbers like A7F2B401)
  • Is it within 1 hour of generation?
  • Has the code already been used on another device?
  • Is internet working?

Solution: Generate a new code from the Parent Portal (Devices → Add Device → Generate Code).
