Thriva works on Windows computers, Android devices, and Linux (Raspberry Pi or Ubuntu laptop). Choose your platform below to get started.
Supported Platforms

Section titled “Windows”Thriva runs as a lightweight background service on Windows 10 and 11 (Home, Pro, or Enterprise).
What you’ll need:
- Windows 10 or 11
- Administrator access
- About 5 minutes
Android
Section titled “Android”Thriva runs as an app on Android phones and tablets running Android 7.0 (Nougat) or later.
What you’ll need:
- Android 7.0 or later
- About 10 minutes (for accessibility permissions)
Thriva runs on Raspberry Pi 5 and Ubuntu 24.04 laptops, giving your child a focused desktop experience at home.
What you’ll need:
- Raspberry Pi 5 (4 GB) or Intel/AMD laptop with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
- Comfort with SSH and the terminal
- About 30 minutes
